Project Overview:In 2024, based on the AIDC strategy of China Unicom Group and the needs of the company's business development, China Unicom Qinghai Provincial Branch will carry out the construction of the basic electromechanical and customer supporting projects for the China Unicom Sanjiangyuan Green Electricity Intelligent Computing Center (Phase III).
Project Scale:The planning and design principles adhere to the layout requirements of minimizing communication lines between GPU servers, fully leveraging the dry and cool climate characteristics of Qinghai region, and ensuring that the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) is not higher than 1.192 through the long-term utilization of natural cooling sources.
Solution:64 sets of 300kW magnetic levitation phase change multi-evaporative condensing units + 448 sets of 40kW inter-row level room air conditioners
Customer Value:Based on the customer's project site conditions, such as a high altitude of 2400 meters (resulting in cooling capacity loss) and frequent earthquakes (requiring an earthquake resistance plan), Haiwu has optimized the plan to ensure the normal operation of the unit, becoming the highest altitude magnetic suspension phase change multi-connected unit use case in China. Qinghai requires that the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of newly built (renovated or expanded) large and above data centers be strictly controlled below 1.2. The design PUE (power-to-energy ratio) of this project is 1.192, meeting the local policy requirements
