Project Overview:China Unicom has positioned Zhongwei as a core node in its "5+4+31+X" layout for the East-to-West Data Transmission and Computing Initiative, as well as its "1+N+X" layout for intelligent computing. The construction of China Unicom's Ningxia Zhongwei Cloud Data Center represents a significant step in its efforts to promote the deep integration of digital technology with the real economy and empower the digital economy.

Project Scale:According to the customized requirements of the client, we must fulfill the HVAC engineering needed for a total IT power consumption of approximately 29.6MW (equivalent to 1675 rack-mounted cabinets). The current project is required to meet Class A data center standards, with a PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of less than 1.2.

Solution:484 sets of VRM fluorine pumps for multi-split systems; 52 sets of CMF room-level air conditioners; 109 sets of CRF inter-row air conditioners; 745 sets of CFF small air curtains; 8 sets of CNF ceiling-mounted air conditioners.

Customer Value:The intelligent computing room adopts fluorine pump multi-split air conditioning, which can fully utilize natural cold sources, reduce energy consumption during air conditioning operation, and further lower the PUE. An air conditioning group control system is employed to automatically optimize the performance and status of air conditioning, reduce unreasonable power consumption of air conditioning, and achieve energy-saving purposes.
