Trend research and judgment

The development path of green intelligent computing

The meeting was presided over by Fan Guifu, Secretary General of the Communication Network Operation Professional Committee of the China Communications Enterprise Association. Wu Xuehong, executive vice chairman and secretary-general of Ningxia Information and Communication Industry Association, said in his speech that Ningxia has unique climate resource advantages and is one of the few data center deployment areas suitable for natural cooling in the country. As the core hub of the "East Data and West Computing" strategy, Zhongwei has reached 131,000 standard racks in the park, ranking among the top three in the country in terms of intelligent computing scale. In the future, we will further promote the implementation of energy conservation and carbon reduction, computing and electricity integration in the region, and continue to give full play to the advantages and location value of Ningxia's natural cold source.

Engineering practice

Regional sample of high-density deployment

Representatives of telecom, mobile, China Unicom, radio and television and other operators shared a number of typical project results based on their layout planning and energy-saving practices in data center construction. It fully demonstrates the exploration practice and engineering implementation capabilities in the direction of liquid cooling technology application and optimization of natural cold source utilization, reflecting the maturity and diversity of the high-density deployment technology system in the central and western regions.

Create a regionally adapted full-scenario temperature control solution

As a representative of the organizer, Chen Jie, General Manager of Haiwu Marketing Center, delivered a keynote speech on "Haiwu's Low-carbon Exploration and Practice in the Computing Power Center in the Central and Western Regions", comprehensively introducing Haiwu's system solutions and practices in the computing power deployment scenarios in the central and western regions.

Haiwu has built a "multi-path, highly adaptable" data center full-scenario temperature control solution, covering air-cooling, fluorine pump, evaporative cooling and liquid cooling technologies to meet the diverse needs from general computing centers to intelligent computing centers. In particular, in view of the shortage of water resources in Northwest China, North China and other places, Haiwu has focused on launching PHU integral all-weather energy-saving units, which have core advantages such as low water consumption, low energy consumption, and fast deployment, and the annual energy efficiency (CLF) is 10-12% higher than that of traditional inter-steam systems, and the cooling capacity of a single machine can reach 320kW, which is widely used in computing power clusters in the central and western regions.

In the face of the increasing AI training and inference load, Haiwu has created a full-stack liquid cooling solution covering cold plates, Manifold, prefabricated pipelines, CDUs, liquid-cooled cabinets and outdoor cooling sources.

Field research

The implementation and application of technology are visible

On August 8, the guests went to Ningxia Zhongwei and visited Ningxia Radio and Television Zhongwei Data Center and Ningxia Unicom Zhongwei Cloud Data Center Park. Both major projects have applied Haiwu's temperature control solutions on a large scale, among which the radio and television park adopts a magnetic levitation phase change multi-connection system, and the Unicom Park deploys a fluorine pump multi-connection system, which realizes the efficient operation of the refrigeration system and the maximum utilization of natural cooling, and has mature engineering capabilities that can be "replicated and promoted" in the central and western regions, continuously empowering value for the development of the regional computing power industry.

Controlling the future starts with the present. The seminar focused on cutting-edge topics, gathered practical experience, and provided technical ideas and landing samples for the development of computing power in the central and western regions. As a leading data center infrastructure provider in the industry, Haiwu will continue to work with industry partners to continue to innovate in key technologies of high-density deployment of power supply and cooling, provide solid support for the transformation and upgrading of data centers in the central and western regions and even the whole country, and help the strategy of "East Data and West Computing" steadily advance.
