On November 16, the 2023 Data Center Science and Technology Achievement Award Ceremony was held at the 11th CDCC Annual Data Center Standards Summit. Haiwu's "atomized air-cooled heat pipe multi-connection technology" won the third prize of the Data Center Science and Technology Achievement Award!
 


The Data Center Science and Technology Achievement Award is known as the "Nobel Prize" in the IDC industry, and the award-winning technology is a breakthrough achieved by Haiwu with years of experience in temperature control design and implementation in the field of data centers.
 

01 Atomization cooling technology, power reduction by 15%
The high-pressure micro-mist method is used to improve the spraying efficiency, and the water consumption is controlled by real-time detection of the humidity of the outdoor air, which greatly reduces water consumption and further improves the operating energy efficiency.
02 Phase change heat transfer, system transmission power is reduced by 85%
The indoor refrigerant heat exchange efficiency on the evaporation side is high, reducing the refrigerant flow and reducing the power of the pump, and the condensing side pump only provides the spray cycle of the unit, and the spray water pump power of the air-cooled condenser (@300kW) is 0.75kW, and the power of the fluorine pump is 1.5kW.
03 High-efficiency cooling core devices, COP increased by 40%+
Adopting magnetic levitation compressor technology, the system runs without oil, eliminating oil system maintenance and friction loss, the impeller adopts direct drive type, eliminating the mechanical loss caused by the gearbox, and using permanent magnet synchronous motor, motor efficiency up to 98%, variable frequency drive, stepless speed regulation, starting current as low as 2A.


High reliability

It has a distributed architecture that can realize cross-backup of multiple terminals, and the core device self-protection logic to ensure the continuous operation of data center services.

Excellent performance

The system integrates various energy-saving technologies such as suspension frequency conversion technology, power heat pipe technology, evaporative cooling technology, and terminal multi-connection technology to help data centers achieve PUE<1.15.

Economic benefits

Compared with ordinary air-cooled air conditioning, the electricity cost is about 264,700 yuan/year, and the electricity cost is saved by 22,200 yuan/year compared with the indirect evaporative cooling unit.

Energy conservation and carbon reduction

The annual carbon consumption of ordinary air-cooled air conditioners is 214.39 tons of CO₂/year, the carbon consumption of maglev multi-unit air conditioners is 66.18 tons of CO₂/year, and the use of 64 sets of maglev systems in a project in Ningxia can save a total of 9,781 tons of CO₂/year in carbon emissions.
